Who we are

Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Account and subscription information. Name, email address, and billing details when you start a trial or purchase a subscription. Payment card data is processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Wedding planning data you enter. Budget figures, vendor notes, guest lists, tasks, and other content you save in your planner file. This data is used to provide the service you request.
• Website and marketing analytics. Pages visited, referral source, campaign tags (such as UTM parameters from Pinterest links), device and browser type, and general usage patterns. We use Microsoft Clarity and similar analytics tools on our public site to understand how visitors use our pages.
• Support and email communications. Messages you send us and our replies when you contact support or request account help.
• Waitlist and form submissions. Email address and any details you submit through forms on our website.

Pinterest API integration

We maintain an internal marketing tool that connects to our own business Pinterest account through the Pinterest API. This integration is used by My Wedding Dashboard staff only, not by wedding planner customers.

When authorized, the tool may access:

• Basic account information for our connected Pinterest business profile
• Board and pin metadata for content we publish on our account
• Aggregate performance metrics for our pins (such as impressions, saves, and outbound clicks)

We use this data to measure how our Pinterest content performs and to improve our marketing. We do not use the Pinterest API to access other people's Pinterest accounts, read private user data unrelated to our business account, or sell Pinterest data to third parties. OAuth tokens used for this connection are stored securely on our server and are not shared publicly.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the My Wedding Dashboard application
• Process subscriptions and send transactional emails (such as login links and receipts)
• Respond to support requests
• Understand site and campaign performance, including traffic from Pinterest and other channels
• Protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the product, and only as needed for them to perform their work:

• Stripe for payment processing
• Hosting and email providers that run our website and deliver transactional messages
• Microsoft Clarity and similar analytics providers for aggregated website usage data
• Pinterest when you interact with our Pinterest content or when we use the Pinterest API for our own account analytics, subject to Pinterest's terms and policies

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our website and app may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for login sessions, preferences, analytics, and security. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit some features.

Data retention

We keep account and planner data for as long as your subscription is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account data by emailing orders@myweddingdashboard.com. We may retain limited records where required for billing, tax, or legal purposes.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email orders@myweddingdashboard.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

If you receive marketing email from us, you can unsubscribe using the link in the message. Transactional emails related to your account may still be sent when necessary.

Children

My Wedding Dashboard is intended for adults planning a wedding. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site or app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
