Other Expenses tab
Every vendor contact and balance in one place
Track who you hired, how to reach them, and whether each invoice is paid, partially paid, or still outstanding.
Stop scrambling. Start planning with a system.
Between florists, DJs, rentals, and the vendors you book outside dedicated compare tabs, contact details and payment status can sprawl fast. The Other Expenses section keeps vendor names, contact info, and quick status reads in one table inside your file.
Mark rows as paid, deposit made, or outstanding for a fast scan, then open the Budget tab when you need payment dates, methods, and notes on each check or transfer. The Dashboard vendor widget summarizes the same story so due dates do not sneak up during busy weeks.
Vendor pills on the Dashboard jump straight into Other Expenses when you need to update status.
Planning angle: compare tabs handle finalists; Other Expenses catches everyone else you still pay and need to reach.
Status at a glance
Use Other Expenses when you want a quick answer on what is settled and what still needs a check. Status labels stay visible on the row and roll up to vendor pills on the Dashboard, beside your budget ring and RSVP snapshot.
When a vendor also lives in a dedicated compare tab (venue, caterer, transportation, and others), Final answer to budget links estimates into Budget automatically. Other Expenses is where you track the rest without losing phone numbers or contract notes.
Payments stay tied to Budget
Record what you sent each vendor with payment date, method, and notes on the Budget tab. Filter by event, vendor, and category so welcome party bar tabs and final florist balances never hide in a shoebox of receipts.
The planner recalculates how much budget is used and how much remains available as you edit, whether you update a line from Budget, a compare tab, or Other Expenses.
Vendors FAQ
- How do I keep track of all my wedding vendors and what I owe them?
- Use Other Expenses for a fast read on paid, deposit made, or outstanding, and keep the detailed story in Budget with payment dates, methods, and notes tied to each vendor and event.
- Can I see all my wedding vendor payments in one dashboard?
- Yes. Vendor status pills and the budget ring read from the same planner file, so deposits and finals sit next to how much of your total is already committed and how much remains for the extras you still want, without reconciling multiple sheets.
- Where do I store vendor contact details?
- Keep names, roles, and contact fields in Other Expenses so you are not digging through email threads when it is time to confirm a timeline or send a final payment.
- Does this replace venue or caterer compare tabs?
- No. Use Compare feature workflows for finalists you score side by side. Other Expenses is your catch-all roster for contacts and payment status across the rest of your vendor list.
