Dashboard
Your 24/7 wedding planner
Stress relief with guidance on what to do next.
Stuck on what to do next? Nudge me is built for that exact moment.
Open your planner and the Dashboard tab gives you everything at once: how many guests have responded, how many days are left, which partner is behind on their tasks, where your budget stands, and which vendors still need a payment. You don't have to open five other tabs to get oriented. One view, current as of the last time you touched anything.
When you're not sure what to do next, tap Nudge me. The planner looks at your actual data and surfaces a short list of things that are missing, started but unfinished, or coming up soon. Each item has a Continue button that takes you directly to the right section. No hunting, no guessing.
Dashboard questions
What's on the dashboard
- What is the wedding planning dashboard in My Wedding Dashboard?
- The Dashboard tab is the first screen inside your planner. It shows your RSVP count, countdown to your wedding date, planning checklist progress, separate partner task tiles with individual completion bars, budget snapshot with estimated versus actual spend, Save The Date mailing progress, gift and thank-you status, packing status across ceremony, reception, and honeymoon, and vendor payment status. Every tile links directly to the right section so you can act without hunting the sidebar.
- Do I need to log in to use the wedding planning dashboard?
- No. The planner runs locally in your browser with no account or login. Bookmark the file on your device and open it whenever you need it. Use the export feature when you want a backup or to transfer data.
- Does the dashboard replace work in the other planning tabs?
- No. The Dashboard is the orientation layer. You still add guests, log payments, and manage tasks in their own sections. The Dashboard reads from those sections and shows you what needs attention next.
Nudge me
- What is Nudge me?
- Nudge me is a button on the Dashboard tab that opens a modal checklist grounded in your actual data. The planner looks at what is missing, started, or incomplete across Setup basics, guests, Save The Date, rehearsal dinner, and pre-wedding tasks, then surfaces a short prioritized list. Each suggestion has a Continue button that takes you directly to the matching section.
- How do I know what to do next when DIY planning stalls?
- Tap Nudge me on the Dashboard tab. Instead of guessing, you get a short list tied to your actual RSVP progress, task completion, and upcoming prep milestones so you can act immediately.
Partner task split
- Can my partner and I have separate to-do lists in the same wedding planner?
- Yes. Name both partners in Setup and the Dashboard shows two partner tiles, each with that person's own task list and a separate completion bar. You divide work clearly and can see each other's progress without one shared list that hides who is carrying the plan.
- Why show separate partner progress bars instead of one shared checklist?
- Shared lists hide who is carrying the mental load. Separate tiles make it obvious what each partner still owes the team, which matches how couples actually split vendors, appointments, and errands while staying aligned on the same planner file.
Individual widgets
- How do I keep track of who has RSVPed to my wedding?
- The RSVP widget pulls from your guest list and shows three counts: attending, pending, and declined. You always know your confirmed headcount without opening the full guest list.
- Does the planner show a countdown to the wedding day?
- Yes. The countdown widget shows exactly how many days are left. If it prompts you to set a date, finish the Setup tab and ceremony schedule basics first, then the tile switches to live timing.
- How do I track wedding gifts and thank-you notes?
- The thank-you notes widget logs every gift you receive and lets you mark when the corresponding note has been sent. The dashboard shows which thank-yous are still outstanding so nothing gets forgotten after the wedding.
