Guest list tab

Every guest welcomed, every detail remembered

Manage your full guest list: RSVPs, meal choices, plus-ones, gifts, and thank-you notes, with one sortable table, filters, and CSV in and out.

Nothing falls through the cracks on your big day.

The guest list is one of the densest parts of planning. This wedding guest list manager is also your RSVP tracker wedding surface inside the file: how to manage wedding guests without spreadsheets sprawl.

Log names, party and household ties, +1s, Save The Date and Invite status, RSVP, meal picks from admin-defined options, a Table field for where they sit, and dietary select plus free notes.

Set an RSVP by target, filter the grid, and move data through Export CSV and Import CSV when you need to work with a stationer. Pair the table text with the Seating plan when you are ready for a full chart.

After the wedding, the same tab holds Gifts And Thanks: log who gave each gift, mark thank-you notes Sent or Pending, and let the Dashboard tile surface how many notes are still waiting.

Gifts and thanks

Gratitude after the wedding matters. This wedding gift tracker and thank you note organizer lives beside your guest rows so you can log each gift, note who gave it, record a Received date, and flip Thank you between Pending and Sent as notes go out. Use Notes for stationery details or story prompts.

  • Capture fast: add a row when a box lands or when you open cards at home, even if wording is rough at first.
  • Batch thanks: sort mentally by Pending, export or print if you like, then mark Sent as mail goes out.
  • Stay kind to future you: the list survives in your browser save until you export, so revisit it on quiet Sundays until the count hits zero.

Guest list FAQ

RSVP and responses

How do I keep track of who has RSVPed to my wedding?
The RSVP snapshot on the Dashboard pulls directly from your guest list and breaks responses into three buckets: attending, pending, and declined, so you always know your confirmed headcount at a glance.
Can I see how many guests have not responded yet?
Absolutely. The pending count updates in real time, which makes it easy to follow up with guests who have not replied, with no spreadsheet hunting.

Guest list basics

How do I manage wedding guests in MyWeddingDashboard?
Use the Guest list table for each person or household row: name fields, party label, household grouping, plus-one counts, Save The Date and invite mailing status, RSVP, meal pick from the choices you define, optional table assignment text, dietary restriction and details, and delete when needed. Filter by name, sort columns, export or import CSV, and set a global RSVP by date that appears above the table.
Where does seating go if this is the guest manager?
The guest list has a table field for quick seat notes or codes. The Seating plan on the Reception Schedule tab holds table-building tools when you are ready to design the full chart.

Gifts and thanks

What counts toward the Dashboard thank-you number?
Rows that have both a sender and a gift description, with thank-you still set to Pending, match the counter logic in the live planner.
Does it connect to an online wedding registry?
There is no live store sync. Treat it as a wedding registry and gift manager notebook inside your dashboard file: copy items in from any retailer or spreadsheet so every thank-you line matches what actually arrived.
How do I track wedding gifts and thank-you notes in one place?
The thank-you notes widget on the Dashboard logs every gift you receive and lets you mark when the corresponding note has been sent, so nothing gets forgotten and no guest feels overlooked.
